General information only, not legal advice. # About Plain AML Plain AML runs the monthly AML/CTF routine for small NSW practices. ## Mike Jones I'm Mike, and I started Plain AML to take the monthly AML/CTF routine off small practices. By day I lead AI innovation at a global technology consultancy, where I work on digital innovation and automation, mostly with companies in highly regulated industries. That work taught me how to turn a fiddly, repeated process into one that runs the same way every month, and how to keep the evidence that shows it did. I run Plain AML from Wyoming on the Central Coast. A second person independently checks a sample of each month's work, so it never rests on one pair of eyes. Plain AML gives general information and prepares your records. It isn't legal advice. ## How many firms we take on We onboard no more than two new firms a month. That keeps each setup properly done, and means the person you speak to is the person doing the work. ## What we don't do - We don't give legal advice. - We don't act as your compliance officer. - We don't submit reports to AUSTRAC for you.
